Aerial & Arts Summer Camp
Welcome to the Aerial & Arts Summer Camp, where creativity takes flight both indoors and outdoors! Immerse yourself in a dynamic mix of aerial hammock play and inspiring art classes for an unforgettable summer.
Aerial Hammock Playtime:
Discover the magic of aerial hammocks as you defy gravity and explore exciting moves in our indoor aerial space. Guided by experienced instructors, you'll swing, spin, and hang upside-down, experiencing the thrill of aerial play in a safe and controlled environment.
Outdoor Art Classes:
Step into the open air for our outdoor art classes, where the natural world becomes your canvas. From painting under the summer sky to creating nature-inspired art, let the outdoors inspire your artistic expression. Embrace the freedom to create in the midst of nature's beauty.
Class is held 10:30-12PM on the following dates:
Wednesdays, July 10 & 24, Monday, August 5, and Thursday, August 22
Class is held at 37 E. Main St. in downtown Waconia (art class is held in the back yard).
Please provide a water bottle, clothes that can get paint on them & a small snack.
Kids Aerial Play
Ready, set, flip!
Let your kids get their wiggles out by swinging, climbing, flipping & seeing what their bodies can do in our aerial silk hammocks!
Open to ages 3-15
*A certified Aerial Yoga instructor will be onsite to guide and assist when needed.

Pricing for Aerial Play/Tricks
- 1 child: $15
- 2 children: $28
- 3 children: $39
- 4 children: $48
- 5+children: $60
- Prices available for 1 hour
- Members get 10% off
Important Notes:
- Children ages 5 and under must have a parent/guardian with them.
- Parents of children 6 & older may leave the premises, however we require a prompt pick-up as we will have another class immediately afterwards.
- There are snacks/beverages & a waiting area available for use.
- We will ask children to wash their hands prior to using the hammocks to preserve the longevity of the silks.
- Parents will be required to sign a waiver form.
- Please have your child wear form-fitting clothes. Loose clothing can bunch up and be a bit painful when children are bound up in the hammocks.
- It is strongly recommended that pants are worn to avoid "silk burns".
Aerial Dance Class -
Spring 2024
Join certified Aerial instructors, Shannon & assistant Jaeyla, for a 7-week Aerial Dance workshop. Participants will learn a variety of inversions, tricks & moves & will sequence them together.
Class dates: Sundays, April 14, 21, 28, May 5, 12, 19 (recital date) from 1-1:45pm (younger girls) & 2-2:45pm (older girls)
AND Wednesdays, May 8 & 15 (dress rehearsal) from 5:30-6:15pm (younger girls) & 6:30-7:15pm (older girls)
*children SHOULD attend all 7 sessions as new moves will be introduced each week. Please let us know if your child is still interested but unable to attend all 7 sessions. Discounts provided for 1+ students from the same family. Registration closes on April 12.
Homeschool Aerial Play
Take a break from homework & get the wiggles out in our Aerial Silk hammocks. Provided at a convenient time & with a discount.
- For ages 4-15.

Homeschool Field Trip
Embark on a dynamic homeschool field trip with Shred With Shannon, where half the adventure is in the air, and the other half is a burst of artistic expression!
🌟 Aerial Hammocks Session:
Kick off your day with a thrilling 50-minute session in aerial hammocks. Suspend yourself in the air, building strength and flexibility under the guidance of our skilled instructors.
🎨 Art Class:
Switch gears seamlessly as the second half of your group immerses themselves in a 50-minute art class. Unleash creativity and dive into a world of colors and shapes, crafting a masterpiece under the guidance of our instructors.
Half of the group will start with the Aerial Hammocks, while the other half dives into the Art Class. Then, they'll switch, ensuring everyone gets the best of both experiences.
As an added treat, moms have the opportunity to sneak in for a 20-minute sauna session for an additional $10. Join us for a field trip that combines the excitement of movement with the joy of artistic creation! Limited slots available, so secure your spot now!
Cost:
- $30 for one child
- $55 for two children
- $20 for each additional child after two
Class times:
10-12 or 12-2 - limit of 20 children in each class.
Must have a minimum of 5 children in each class to make it a go.
Grade recommendation: K-6th grade
